START FROM THE FLOOR COLOR

It may sound like a strange idea to start with the floor color when choosing the color of the carpets, but the floor covers a very large area in the room and can affect how other colors added to the room are perceived.

Either you choose to have the floor color harmonize with the carpets, or you try to create a contrast between the floor color and the carpet. Choosing a carpet that harmonizes with the floor will most likely give a calm and cohesive impression. If you prefer to have a contrast between the floor and the carpet, there is a good chance that you will create an eye-catching and lively impression.

Start from the undertone of the floor - if your floor has a warm undertone, it is nice to choose a carpet that complements the warm tone of the floor. If you have a floor that leans towards cool undertones, it will harmonize with neutral tones like beige, gray, blue, and green. HOW TO THINK WHEN CHOOSING A RUG FOR THE SOFA?

When choosing a rug for the sofa, there are several aspects to consider. The size of the rug is an important aspect. As a general rule, the sofa, coffee table, and any armchairs should fit on the rug. If you want all the mentioned furniture to fit on the rug, make sure there is at least 20-30 cm of rug around the furniture. A rug that is too small can make the room feel unbalanced. Base the shape of the rug on the design of the furniture. If you have a round table, we recommend complementing it with a round rug. The same principle applies if you have a rectangular dining table; complete the dining area with a rectangular rug. If you want more tips on what to consider when

HOW TO THINK WHEN CHOOSING THE COLOR OF THE RUG FOR THE SOFA

We recommend keeping the room's color palette in mind, but focusing on choosing a rug that complements the color of the sofa. Either choose a rug where the color is the main focus or try to find a rug whose color stays within the same color scheme as the sofa but in a different shade, creating a sophisticated and calm feeling.

Consider the size of the room and the amount of natural light. Light rugs make the room feel larger and brighter, especially in smaller rooms with limited floor space. If you are choosing a rug for a larger, brighter room, a dark rug can create a sense of warmth and personality.
